Role Overview: You will be joining D2 International Pvt. Ltd., a renowned export house specializing in crafting premium leather handbags, accessories, and belts for over 30 years. As a Senior Product Developer, you will bring your creativity and technical expertise to lead the design and development process for a variety of projects in the global fashion and luxury industry. Your role will involve working on innovative and sustainable solutions while collaborating with international clients to meet brand-specific requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Leading the design process from concept to completion for various projects such as website graphics, social media content, and marketing materials. - Managing end-to-end product development for leather goods and fashion accessories, ensuring alignment with brand standards and market expectations. - Collaborating with international clients to understand design briefs and deliver prototypes that meet brand-specific aesthetics and functional requirements. - Developing new production techniques to enhance product appeal and scalability, and refining techniques for manufacturability in collaboration with production teams. - Working closely with marketing, product, and development teams to ensure designs align with business goals. - Overseeing sample approvals, production quality, and client feedback loops to maintain high delivery standards. - Demonstrating a strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout design. - Keeping abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and the latest design software. Qualifications: - Proven experience working with global fashion/luxury brands or a related field. - A strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design projects. - Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and CAD & Coreldraw. - Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior designers. - Strong understanding of leather materials, hardware, trims, and construction techniques. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Ability to identify and solve design problems, and to analyze design performance.
