About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Product Design Intern with hands-on experience or working knowledge of die preparation and laser cutting. This role involves assisting our design and prototyping team in creating precise, functional, and manufacturable components for educational and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing product parts and packaging solutions using CAD software.
• Prepare design, die files and material layouts for

  die cutting

  and

  laser cutting

  .
• Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure accurate

  die line creation

  and execution.
• Operate or coordinate with technicians for laser cutting processes.
• Test and iterate on prototypes to improve functionality and usability.
• Maintain design documentation and revision histories.
• Contribute creative ideas for design optimization and cost-effective manufacturing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Product Design or Industrial Design.
• Familiarity with design tools such as CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, Illustrator, or similar software.
• Basic understanding of die-making techniques and laser cutting machines.
• Good visualization and technical drawing skills.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

Bonus Skills

Experience with prototyping materials.

Exposure to packaging design or model making.

Knowledge of production processes or DFM (Design for Manufacturing).
