As a Product Definition Analyst 4, your role involves various key responsibilities and qualifications to ensure the successful procurement of high-quality software solutions at competitive prices. Here is a breakdown of what is expected from you: Role Overview: As a Product Definition Analyst 4, you will be responsible for various aspects related to software sourcing and procurement, financial analysis, contract management, cost optimization, risk management, stakeholder collaboration, and support in requirements definition. Your expertise in negotiating favorable contracts, maintaining vendor relationships, providing technical and commercial expertise, and offering fast and reliable business intelligence will be crucial in supporting the organization's IT investment decisions and budget planning. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and evaluate software vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships - Conduct financial analysis, develop models, and provide insights for IT investment decisions - Collaborate with the purchasing department to align IT procurement strategies with company policies - Oversee drafting, negotiation, and management of IT contracts - Identify opportunities to optimize IT spending and improve financial performance - Assess and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement - Work closely with IT, finance, legal, and other departments for cohesive procurement processes - Help structure technical, functional, non-functional, and commercial requirements - Negotiate favorable contracts for the organization - Maintain positive vendor relationships - Offer technical and commercial expertise - Provide fast and reliable business intelligence - Assist in problem resolution and escalation - Support in exploring vendors and selecting the right business partners - Leverage on providers to complement internal operations - Facilitate the RFX process with suppliers - Support Service Owners on Life-Cycle related topics - Ensure compliance and security requirements are met - Organize Service Management meetings with Vendors - Calculate SLA penalties and align with Vendors Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred - 5 to 10 years of experience in IT industry, with at least 5 years in IT procurement, software sourcing, financial analysis, or related field - Strong technical knowledge in software sourcing methodologies, IT contracts, and contract management principles - Proficiency in financial modeling, economic analysis, and budget planning - Knowledge of purchasing roles and best practices in an IT context - Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills - Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment - Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, ITIL) are a plus Amadeus aspires to lead in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the tech industry, creating a culture of belonging and fair treatment for all employees, attracting talent from diverse backgrounds.,
