Job Description

About the Role:

This role is pivotal in overseeing the operational and creative aspects of flagship Non Fiction shows for Channel SET. The Producer Programming will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between the channel and the production houses, driving quality content delivery, and maintaining the shows high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Supervision:
Oversee day-to-day operations for Indian Idol and IGT, ensuring timelines, budgets, and resources are effectively managed.
Creative Supervision:
Collaborate closely with creative teams and production houses to maintain and enhance the creative vision and content quality of the shows.
Liaison and Coordination:
Act as the primary point of contact between the channel and production houses, facilitating smooth communication, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment on objectives and deliverables.
Quality Control:
Monitor the production process to ensure content meets the channel s standards, adheres to compliance guidelines, and resonates well with the target audience.
Scheduling and Planning:
Work closely with programming and scheduling teams to align production timelines with broadcast schedules and promotional activities.
Budget Management:
Assist in managing the budget for assigned shows, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising on quality.
Reporting:
Provide regular updates and reports on production progress, challenges, and achievements to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience (6+ years) in a producer or programming role, preferably in television reality shows or large-scale entertainment productions.
Strong understanding of the production process, from creative conception to final delivery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with multiple stakeholders.
Ability to multitask and manage high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with budgeting and scheduling tools.
Creative mindset with a passion for content quality and audience engagement.

Preferred:

Experience working on reality TV shows, especially talent-based formats like Indian Idol and IGT.
Prior collaboration experience with external production houses.
Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenges.
