Procurement Manager

1. Procurement Planning & Strategy

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

• Coordinate with program, admin, and technical teams to forecast procurement needs and budgets.

2. Vendor Management

• Identify, evaluate, and empanel reliable vendors/suppliers for goods and services.

• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance evaluations.

3. Purchasing & Inventory Control

• Oversee end-to-end procurement of equipment, sports gear, services, and infrastructure materials.

• Ensure cost-effective and quality procurement while maintaining transparency and fairness.

• Maintain procurement records, quotations, approvals, and inventory tracking systems.

4. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and Section 8 company governance standards.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all purchases in line with audit and CSR funding requirements.

• Coordinate with finance for timely payments and reconciliations.

5. Process Improvement

• Continuously review and improve procurement systems, tools, and vendor performance metrics.

• Digitize procurement processes wherever feasible.

6. Inventory Management

• Ensure managing inventory across functions.

• Implement strategies to maintain Optimal Stock Levels, minimizing overstock and stockouts.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in non-profit, sports, education, or development sectors.

• Strong negotiation, documentation, and vendor management skills.

• Knowledge of procurement tools/software and Excel.

• Experience of working with International Vendors.
