Design, plan and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies
Managing daily purchasing activities, Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power. Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
Work with suppliers, manufacturers and internal departments Determine Quantity, Quality and timing of deliveries. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand. Determine and track KPIs Provide reports for upper management Adhere to laws, rules and regulations
