Job Title: Procurement Manager / Senior Manager Construction & Corporate Interiors Location: Bangalore / Pune / Hyderabad / Mumbai Reports To: Head of Projects / Director Procurement / AGM/GM Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager with a background in construction and corporate interiors. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in quantity surveying (QS), billing, BOQ preparation, and vendor management, along with hands-on experience in SAP and Max systems. This role is critical in ensuring cost-effective procurement strategies and timely material and service delivery across all projects. Key Responsibilities: Procurement & Sourcing: Oversee procurement of materials, services, and subcontracts for construction and interior fit-out projects. Develop and manage procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and timelines. Identify, qualify, and onboard new vendors, contractors, and suppliers. Quantity Surveying & Billing: Collaborate with the QS team to analyze and validate BOQs. Review and verify billing and payment certifications against project milestones. Ensure timely release of payments and manage billing cycles with finance teams. Vendor & Contract Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors and subcontractors. Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality, timelines, and budgets. Maintain a strong network of interior, MEP, civil, and finishing vendors. Systems & Reporting: Utilize SAP and Max ERP systems for procurement planning, PO creation, inventory, and budget tracking. Generate MIS reports, cost analyses, and procurement dashboards for senior management. Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with project managers, design teams, and site engineers to align procurement plans with execution timelines. Ensure procurement aligns with company quality and compliance standards. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering / Interior Design / Procurement / Supply Chain; MBA or equivalent education preferred. 712 years of relevant experience in construction , corporate interiors , or interior contracting firms . Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, QS, billing cycles , and project costing . Proven experience with SAP platforms. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously. Familiarity with green building practices and sustainable materials (preferred).
