Procurement Manager

Job Summary :

Assistant Manager Procurement

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals and CRF production needs.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials like steel coils, equipment, and other consumables.
• Maintain vendor relationships to ensure consistent quality and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Manage procurement budgets and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking to identify cost and quality improvements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, safety norms, and industry regulations.
• Draft and manage supplier contracts and agreements with favorable terms.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams: production, logistics, and finance.
• Utilize procurement/ERP systems to streamline purchasing operations and reporting.
  

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors Degree in

  Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration

  .

• 1015 years

  of procurement experience in manufacturing or steel industry (Minimum 67 years in core procurement).
• Strong knowledge of

  raw material sourcing

  , inventory planning, and vendor development.
• Excellent

  negotiation, communication, and analytical

  skills.
• Hands-on experience with

  ERP systems

  and

  procurement software

  .
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in

  Cold Rolled Forming (CRF)

  or

  Steel Procurement

  .
• Exposure to

  international sourcing

  and

  import/export regulations

  .
• Certification in

  Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM)

  .
• Intermediate to advanced skills in

  MS Excel

  (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
