Job Description

Plan and ensure all input is stocked / provided to the factory in time, to execute the production plan. (NIL production stoppage / loss or changeover)
Ensure a basket of quality vendors are periodically audited and empaneled, thereby creating healthy alternatives and prices are optimized.
Ensure procurement is completed at lesser than the budgeted cost and generate cost savings towards reducing the COGS
Plan optimal stock levels of RM and Accessories and manage WC efficiently, by implementing necessary lean practices.
Monitor vendor performance and to ensure compliance across Quality, Delivery Reliability, Lead times, defect rate, cost competitiveness, Reconciliations.
Work closely with planning / production / finance / quality to align procurement goals and business goals
Lead an efficient team that excels in planning, execution, process compliance and treats Production / Stores / Planning and Finance as internal customers
Develop contingency plans during changes in the sourcing environments owing geo/political/festival fluctuations or disruptions
Ensure procurement KPI are met, and Procurement becomes the backbone of company's success.
