Procurement Executive in Pharmaceutical

As a Procurement Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely availability of pharmaceutical raw materials and packaging materials. Your responsibilities will include: - Source, negotiate, and procure pharmaceutical raw materials (APIs, excipients) and packaging materials from approved vendors. - Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable supply chain and competitive pricing. - Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery, and compliance standards. - Coordinate with QA/QC, R&D, and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials. - Ensure procurement activities comply with GMP, GDP, and other relevant pharmaceutical regulations. - Manage procurement documentation and maintain accurate records in ERP or procurement systems (SAP/Oracle preferred). - Monitor market trends, product availability, and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities. - Assist in audits and regulatory inspections related to procurement processes. - Handle import/export documentation (if applicable) and liaise with logistics partners for timely delivery.
