Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Executive – EPC / Construction

Location: Vidya Vihar

Experience: 4–6 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Executive with a strong background in EPC / construction projects. The role involves end-to-end procurement of construction materials, vendor management, cost optimization, and ensuring timely delivery in line with project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end procurement activities for EPC / construction projects

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors

Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR), RFQs, and Purchase Orders (POs)

Ensure procurement of materials as per project specifications, quality, and timelines

Coordinate with Project, Planning, Stores, Finance, and Site teams

Monitor material delivery schedules and resolve supply chain issues

Conduct price comparison, cost analysis, and value engineering

Maintain vendor database and evaluate vendor performance periodically

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and contract terms

Track inventory levels and support just-in-time procurement

Handle documentation related to billing, GRN, invoices, and audits

Key Materials / Categories (Preferred Experience)

Civil & structural materials (cement, steel, aggregates)

MEP materials (electrical, plumbing, HVAC – preferred)

Equipment, tools, and subcontracting services

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of construction / EPC procurement processes

Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills

Understanding of contracts, commercial terms, and incoterms

Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/other ERP)

Ability to work under tight project timelines

Good communication and coordination skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Commerce / Management

Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain (preferred, not mandatory)

Experience Requirements

4–6 years of relevant experience in construction / EPC procurement

Hands-on experience in project-based procurement

Experience working with site and project teams is mandatory

Preferred Attributes

Experience in large-scale EPC or infrastructure projects

Familiarity with Vidya Vihar / Mumbai vendor ecosystem

Immediate or short notice period preferred
