Job Description

1. Purpose:

To ensure seamless procurement of materials to cater the business plan without any sale loss due to shortage of materials

2. Role Description:

Aligning the procurement plan with the sales plan for the month
Scheduling of parts in line with sales plan, availability of stocks, category of parts and sales trends
Follow-up with the suppliers for timely supply of materials
Coordination with suppliers for course corrections during the month (lowering / increasing of orders) to meet the business requirements
Periodic analysis of partwise stocks and sales to update the product category master
Coordination with QAD, NPD and Sales section to maintain consistency & adequacy of supplies
Maintain healthy ratio between Inventory and Turnover

3. Managing Points:

Adherence to procurement as per schedule
Sale loss due to shortage of Material
Inventory turnover ratio

4. Authority:

The arrival of monthly procurement plan
Issue purchase orders to the suppliers
Follow-up for supplies and initiate revision in purchase order as per requirement

5. Requirements:

Graduates / MBA with a minimum experience of 5 years in purchase activity
