Procurement Engineer

You have experience in procurement assistance services for industrial projects related to Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and General Industry, preferably as a senior procurement engineer. You are well-acquainted with procurement processes such as Vendor PQ, RFQ floating, follow-up with vendors, offer receipt, and have sufficient knowledge of technical, commercial, and legal aspects of procurement in Industrial projects. Your hands-on experience includes reviewing commercial offers, terms and conditions, and preparing commercial bid analysis documents. You have interacted with clients/stakeholders for procurement progress/status, monthly reporting, and driving key procurement topics. Additionally, you have experience in preparing and updating vendor databases, procurement trackers, and post-order vendor drawing registers. You are skilled in desk expediting with vendors/contractors to ensure completion of post-order activities like vendor drawings and order item statuses. You have experience in developing project cost data banks, preparing project cost estimates at different engineering stages, and monitoring costs. Collaboration with project and discipline team members to align procurement with project requirements is part of your expertise, including engaging sub-consultants for specialized project services. Working knowledge of e-procurement software is preferred, and specialized knowledge in substantive areas/dashboards/digitization is a plus. You have handled similar projects with large MNCs, Indian corporates, and reputed EPCM/PMC consultants in India. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in engineering with Industrial project procurement experience. - Excellent IT/computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience working on project tools such as SharePoint and MS Teams. - Good understanding of business ethics, anti-bribery, and corporate policy. - Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English; knowledge of other languages is preferable.
