We are seeking a skilled and driven Procurement Engineer to join our expanding team and contribute to the success of our eVTOL program.

About the Role:

Procurement Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and qualify suppliers for aircraft parts, tools, and services, operations.

• Review technical specifications and ensure procurement aligns with engineering requirements.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors.

• Manage RFQs, purchase orders, and supplier performance metrics.

• Ensure the Procure to Pay process from start to end.

• Maintain the material planning sheet

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels.

• Resolve supply chain issues, including delays, quality concerns, and warranty claims.

• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audits.

• Support cost-reduction initiatives and supplier development programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain within the aviation/aerospace industry.

• Knowledge of aviation parts, Indirect and Direct parts

• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics 365)

• Should and must have worked on Teamcenter PLM and have knowledge of EBOM & MBOM

• Understanding and know-how on Contract management 

• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with MRO procurement or airline operations.

• Ability to work in a startup environment and should be flexible in work timings and suppliers' visits.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

• Language preference – English (Mandatory), Kannada, Tamil
