Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Consultant

Experience:

Role Type: 6-Month Contract (extendable based on performance)

Preferred Background:

Experience in
PSUs
or
Private Power/Energy Sector
Strong exposure to
procurement operations, vendor management, and contract management

Key Responsibilities:

1. Tender Management (GEM / CPP Portals)

Manage end-to-end tender process on GEM/CPP government portals
Prepare and issue tender documents (technical and commercial)
Create comparative statements and file notes
Support in preparation of Purchase Orders (POs) and contract documents

2. Procurement & Vendor Management

Handle full procurement cycle from requisition to PO release
Manage vendor registration, evaluation, and coordination
Support annual rate contract formulation and renewals

3. Documentation & Systems

Maintain procurement documentation and reports accurately
Work on MS Excel and Word for reports and analysis
Experience with SAP MM module preferred

Skills & Requirements:

6+ years of experience in procurement (mandatory)
Strong understanding of
vendor management, contract management, PO release, and tender processes
Experience in
Energy / Power sector preferred
Proficient in
Excel and Word
Familiarity with
SAP MM
module is an advantage
Fluent in
written English
due to heavy documentation work

Educational Qualification:

B.Tech
(mandatory)
