Job Description

Position Title:

Head Corporate Projects & Strategic Partnerships

Role Purpose:

To lead the business schools strategic and operational initiatives in securing, and delivering consultancy, executive training, and management development projects. The role demands strong industry linkages, deep understanding of academiccorporate collaboration, and capability to drive revenue-generating engagements for the institution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Project Acquisition

  • Lead the end-to-end process of identifying, pitching, and acquiring consultancy and training projects from corporates, government bodies, industry associations, and NGOs.
  • Leverage strong corporate networks in Bangalore and across India to generate consistent project pipelines.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with HR heads, Learning & Development leaders, CXOs, and industry influencers.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging corporate capability-building needs and align offerings accordingly.

2. Academic Coordination, Program Design and Execution

  • Collaborate closely with faculty members to scope project requirements and design relevant consulting and training frameworks
  • Facilitate academicindustry alignment to ensure program content and delivery meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for proposal creation, pricing, faculty assignment, and project delivery planning.
  • Ensure timely delivery, client satisfaction, and achievement of project outcomes.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with client organizations for repeat engagements.

3. Revenue Generation & Performance Management

  • Achieve annual revenue targets for consultancy and training verticals.
  • Track project performance, budgets, and profitability.
  • Mentor and supervise the Lead Generation & Outreach Executives

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree/MBA (preferred in Management, HR, Strategy, or related areas).
  • 5–10 years of experience in corporate relations, business development, L&D consulting, or academic project acquisition roles.
  • Proven track record in securing large-scale training and consultancy projects for universities, business schools, or corporate training firms.
  • Strong network within Bangalore corporate ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication, proposal writing, and presentation skills.
