Procurement Analyst

As a Procurement Analyst at GI Group, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement activities at the Ahmedabad Plant. Your responsibilities will include: - Strategic sourcing and vendor management to ensure the best suppliers are identified and maintained - Utilizing cost analysis and negotiation expertise to secure favorable terms and pricing - Proficiency in SAP or Oracle / ERP systems to streamline procurement processes - Knowledge of procurement processes and compliance to ensure all activities adhere to regulations - Experience in handling technical procurement, particularly in compressor or engineering industries - Strong analytical and communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders - Ability to manage cross-functional coordination and build strong supplier relationships In addition to the key responsibilities, the desired qualifications for this role include: - BE in Mechanical Engineering - Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in procurement roles - Industry preference for Compressor / Engineering / Manufacturing/Auto sectors Ingersoll Rand Inc.
