Process Engineering

As a Process Engineer at GFCL EV Products Limited, your role involves assisting in process/project engineering and front-end engineering for the commercialization of in-house and licensed processes. Your responsibilities include: - Generating Technology Transfer Data from R & D Kilo Lab Scale, Pilot Plant scale for transferring technology to Commercial Plant. - Generating and reviewing various drawings and documents such as mass balance, energy balance, process engineering calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, isometric drawings, project cost estimates, and project schedules. - Planning Design of Experiments in coordination with R&D. - Organizing studies to check material compatibility, effluent minimization, solvent recovery, etc. - Selecting proper equipment and agitation patterns for scaled-up plant. - Preparing proposals for conducting trial and validation batches in Pilot Plant. - Arranging and conducting Process HAZOP and Risk Assessment. - Interacting with Process Engineering Team to finalize the scaled-up version of the commercial plant. - Arranging and conducting trials at vendors shop for operations like filtration, extraction depending on the process requirement. - Assisting ADL team in analytical method transfer to Plant. - Supporting commissioning of new plant. - Collecting data required for improvements and/or modifications. - Investigating and troubleshooting process problems. - Ensuring that equipment works to its specifications and appropriate capacities. - Providing information throughout the various project phases like proposal preparation, process engineering with regard to all aspects of Technology. - Developing methods for upgrading operational techniques. - Improving yield, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of developed processes by introducing new technologies and continual improvement. - Training Process Engineers for the newly developed technology. Qualifications Required: - B.E./B.
