Process Engineer - Piping - Nuclear

Company Description

• Detailed theoretical and practical knowledge of piping design covering in addition:
• Applicable regulations for nuclear piping Accessibility for inspection and maintenance
• Take ownership of one or more systems.
• Understand the requirements for all allocated systems and ensure they are respected in the design update.
• Lead activities of one or more Junior Engineers. Coordinate reviews and updates of input data and existing designs
• Review the work of others.
• Check proposed piping routes and identify potential issues (adequancy of supporting, adequate allowance for thermal expansion, accessibility of active comopnents for maintenance).
• Apply the cielnt quality procedure in the preparation of documentation.
• Produce written technical deliverables in English to a high standard
• Analyse and prepare responses to client technical comments
• Produce technical specifications for piping equipment Nuclear Safety knowledge and associated requirement (design orientation & NS quality system) is a plus Provide support to 2D/3D designer in the implementation of piping network in the overall environement Good written & verbal communication in English
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 5+ Years in piping system design function
