1. Role Overview

The Process Engineer Injection Molding (IM) is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining robust molding processes to ensure the production of high-quality plastic components. The role involves applying scientific molding principles, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and productivity. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, technical guidance to operators, and leadership in introducing new products into production, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, establish, and optimize injection molding processes for new and existing products.
• Apply principles of

  scientific molding

  to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality.
• Monitor production processes to achieve high-quality plastic components that meet customer and company standards.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and support to operators and production staff.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve molding and process issues, minimizing downtime and improving productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce rejections, and improve overall efficiency.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Design, Production) to resolve issues affecting productivity.
• Lead the integration of new projects, including process validation, documentation, and training.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, troubleshooting guidelines, and validation reports.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies, while promoting a safe working environment.
• Ensure proper usage of

  PPE

  and adherence to all safety protocols.
