Process Engineer Designing

Role & responsibilities:

• Process Optimization:

  Identify, analyze, and implement improvements to chemical manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of changes.

• Process Design & Implementation:

  Collaborate with senior management to design and implement new processes or modifications to existing processes for better operational performance.

• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving

  : Address process-related challenges, troubleshoot complex production issues, and recommend solutions to minimize downtime and operational losses.

• Project Management:

  Lead and manage process engineering projects, ensuring that all objectives are met within budget, time constraints, and quality standards. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.

• Team Leadership:

  Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff, providing training and guidance to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing.

• Safety & Compliance:

  Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards in all process engineering activities. Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and implement measures to mitigate potential hazards.

• Data Analysis & Reporting:

  Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to make informed decisions and recommendations. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on process performance and improvement projects.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Promote and implement continuous improvement strategies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance process efficiency and reduce waste.

• Collaboration & Communication:

  Work cross-functionally with production, R&D, quality control, and maintenance teams to integrate process improvements across various departments.
• Resolving issues at manufacturing facilities for smooth production and supporting the quality control of finish products as well as inward raw materials as per the specification.
• Developing competent and efficient technical team, as well as providing prompt technical support to marketing and sales function.
• Smooth implementation of Quality Management systems ISO 9001 and Environment Management System ISO 14001, 5S and OHSAS
• Responsible for Quality Control of the entire product line and replication of the same at all plants.
• Development of new products and upgradation of existing ones and their market validation.
• Rationalization of products as per Sales feedback and market needs.
• Management of R&D related Customer complaints
