Process Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Water/Wastewater Treatment Design Engineer to develop and implement efficient designs for STP (Sewage Treatment Plants), ETP (Effluent Treatment Plants), and WTP (Water Treatment Plants). The candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering drawings, conducting technical calculations, and ensuring compliance with environmental and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop treatment plants including STP, ETP, and WTP systems.
• Prepare process flow diagrams (PFD), piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), and layout drawings.
• Perform hydraulic and process calculations (e.g., flow rate, retention time, chemical dosing, pump sizing).
• Select appropriate treatment technologies such as MBBR, SBR, RO, UF, etc.
• Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical teams for integration of design.
• Work with CAD and simulation tools for system modeling and design.
• Support project execution with site visits, technical documentation, and design modifications.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations like CPCB/SPCB norms.
• Interact with clients, consultants, and vendors for technical discussions and approvals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment design.
• Strong understanding of STP/ETP/WTP processes and technologies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and process simulation tools.
• Knowledge of environmental standards and safety protocols.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Environmental or Water Resources Engineering.
• Experience with government tender-based or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
• Knowledge of software like Bentley WaterGEMS, MATLAB, or Epanet is an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
