Process Design Engineer

Gate Manufacturing Pvt Ltd, a leading Indian company specializing in aluminum extrusion, is seeking a Process Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. With 4 to 6 years of experience in process engineering or related roles, you will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes and enhancing efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Accurately estimate and optimize cycle times to enhance throughput, reduce lead times, and improve overall efficiency. - Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes that align with product specifications, ensuring smooth execution and consistent improvement. - Create comprehensive process flow sheets, detailing the sequence of operations, process parameters, and technical specifications for clarity across teams. - Regularly monitor processes to ensure adherence to planned parameters, maintaining consistent quality standards and meeting production goals. - Lead initiatives aimed at improving processes, reducing costs, and enhancing productivity through waste reduction and resource optimization. - Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to resolve manufacturability issues and incorporate innovative solutions. - Maintain detailed records of process parameters, cycle time data, and improvements, generating reports to track performance and outcomes. - Draft clear and concise documentation, including protocols, evaluations, and reports, to support all phases of research and development. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Mechanical, Industrial, or equivalent). - 4-6 years of relevant experience in process engineering or related roles. Expertise in CAD tools such as Catia V5 and Siemens NX. - Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly operations, and tooling applications. - Knowledge in Process Optimization techniques, focusing on time reduction, cost efficiency, and improved cycle times. - Expertise in Process Control and the ability to ensure that the process is executed according to plan and specifications. - Familiarity with process optimization techniques, tooling selection, and tool life optimization. - Motivated, confident, and passionate about innovation. - Disciplined, accountable, and ambitious with a strong sense of integrity. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. Candidates should be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Hyderabad, Telangana. The deadline for applications is 18/03/2025.
