Job Title: Store In charge – Gas Regulators Business Department: Stores & Materials Management Location: Khed Shivapur, Pune Reports To: Project Manager / Supply Chain Manager Job Summary The Store In charge is responsible for managing and controlling all material-related activities for Gas components like Regulators, Filters, Pipes, Fittings, Valves, Solenoid Valves etc . This includes the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials such as, valves, regulators, meters, fittings, and construction consumables. The role ensures efficient inventory management, adherence to safety norms, and timely material availability for project and maintenance teams. Key Responsibilities Supervise and control all store operations for CGD project materials and equipment. Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials (pipes, valves, regulators, meters, fittings, etc.) against purchase orders and delivery challans. Ensure proper storage and identification of materials as per specifications and safety requirements (Pipes, Valves, Regulators and associated components). Maintain accurate stock records, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), issue slips, and material return notes. Update material receipts and issues in ERP or inventory software on a daily basis. Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) system and maintain minimum/maximum stock levels. Coordinate with procurement, project, and maintenance teams to ensure timely supply of required materials. Conduct periodic physical verification and reconcile stock discrepancies. Manage handling, preservation, and stacking of materials to avoid damage or contamination. Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in the store area, especially for gas-related components. Prepare monthly inventory, consumption, and reconciliation reports. Support audit and documentation processes for PNGRB and internal compliance. Qualifications and Skills Education: Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Material Management discipline. Experience: 3–10 years of experience in store/inventory management, preferably in a Gas Regulator and associated components, Oil & Gas, or EPC company. Software Proficiency: MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP / Tally / customized inventory tools). Skills: Strong knowledge of materials (pipes, valves, regulators, meters, etc.) Excellent record-keeping and documentation abilities Understanding of PNGRB and OISD safety standards Effective coordination and communication skills Analytical mindset for stock control and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Inventory accuracy and reconciliation percentage On-time material issuance to projects and maintenance teams Reduction in material losses or shortages Compliance with safety and audit requirements Efficiency in ERP data management and documentation Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Benefits: Commuter assistance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location: In person
