Process Coordinator

Position Summary:

Process Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization:

    Continuously monitor and analyze logistics workflows and processes to identify areas of improvement. Suggest process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.

  • Coordination & Communication:

    Serve as the main point of contact between different departments, including warehousing, transportation, and customer service, to ensure that logistics operations are executed efficiently.

  • Documentation & Reporting:

    Maintain accurate records of logistics processes and performance metrics. Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time deliveries, transportation costs, and order fulfillment rates.

  • Compliance & Standards:

    Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to transportation, safety, and quality standards. Ensure that all logistical processes adhere to established company standards.

  • Troubleshooting:

    Address any issues or discrepancies in the logistics chain, including delays, shortages, and errors in shipments. Work with teams to resolve problems in a timely and effective manner.

  • Training & Development:

    Assist in training new employees on logistics processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Provide ongoing support to team members to enhance performance and adherence to best practices.

  • Data Analysis:

    Utilize data analysis tools to monitor and track logistics performance. Provide actionable insights based on data to improve operational processes and outcomes.

  • Vendor & Supplier Coordination:

    Liaise with third-party vendors, suppliers, and transporters to ensure the timely delivery of goods. Monitor service levels to ensure optimal performance from external partners.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Experience:

    At least 2-3 years of experience in a logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination role, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.

  • Skills & Competencies:


  • Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with logistics software (TMS, WMS) is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Certifications (Preferred):

    Certification in logistics, supply chain management, or project management (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma, or PMP).
