Job Title: Process Coordinator – Logistics Location: Reports To: Operations Manager / Logistics Manager Job Type: Full-Time About Us: We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Coordinator to join our team and help drive operational excellence across our logistics processes. Position Summary: As a Process Coordinator , you will play a key role in optimizing, monitoring, and improving operational processes within the logistics department. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. You will work closely with various teams including logistics, supply chain, and operations to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities: Process Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze logistics workflows and processes to identify areas of improvement. Suggest process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs. Coordination & Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between different departments, including warehousing, transportation, and customer service, to ensure that logistics operations are executed efficiently. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of logistics processes and performance metrics. Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time deliveries, transportation costs, and order fulfillment rates. Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to transportation, safety, and quality standards. Ensure that all logistical processes adhere to established company standards. Troubleshooting: Address any issues or discrepancies in the logistics chain, including delays, shortages, and errors in shipments. Work with teams to resolve problems in a timely and effective manner. Training & Development: Assist in training new employees on logistics processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Provide ongoing support to team members to enhance performance and adherence to best practices. Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to monitor and track logistics performance. Provide actionable insights based on data to improve operational processes and outcomes. Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Liaise with third-party vendors, suppliers, and transporters to ensure the timely delivery of goods. Monitor service levels to ensure optimal performance from external partners. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination role, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry. Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with logistics software (TMS, WMS) is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
