Job Summary: The Retail Sales Officer (RSO) is responsible for driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and ensuring smooth retail operations. The role involves interacting with customers, understanding their needs, promoting products, achieving sales targets, and supporting the overall performance of the store. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable products. Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by the management. Maintain in-depth knowledge of products, promotions, pricing, and store policies. Build strong customer relationships to enhance repeat business and customer loyalty. Ensure clean, organized, and well-maintained store displays and stock shelves. Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide timely solutions. Perform billing and assist with cash handling as per company procedures (if assigned). Maintain proper stock levels and coordinate with the store manager for replenishment. Support store operations including inventory checks, stock management, and merchandising. Participate in promotional activities, product demos, and sales campaigns. Ensure compliance with company standards, hygiene guidelines, and store SOPs. Maintain accurate documentation and daily sales reports. Work closely with the store team to achieve overall store performance objectives. Skills & Requirements: Minimum 1–3 years of experience in retail sales (industry-specific experience preferred). Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to convince customers and close sales confidently. Basic knowledge of billing, POS systems, and stock management. Pleasant personality, positive attitude, and professional behavior. Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and peak business hours. Team player with strong time management abilities.
