About The Role

We are hiring a

Sr. Process Analyst

for the

FAC (Facultative Reinsurance)

process. The role involves ensuring the quality and effectiveness of business operations, including

reinsurance placement and claims processing

for end-to-end client servicing, in line with

IRDAI guidelines

. The position requires a strong understanding of the policy life cycle, including actions related to

New Business, Renewals, Mid-Term Adjustments, Claims, and Collections

.

Placement

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up client details accurately in the system with all required documentation.
  • Handle and manage booking inquiries for potential clients.
  • Book business transactions on the system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
  • Generate closing statements to facilitate premium collection.
  • Coordinate with cedents and underwriters for seamless processing of placements and renewals.

Claims

  • Identify and book claims as per slip terms, ensuring all claim details are accurately captured in the system.
  • Generate closing statements to facilitate claim settlements.
  • Collaborate with cedents and underwriters to ensure timely and accurate claims handling.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely communication and issue resolution with clients, cedents, and underwriters.
  • Apply analytical and critical thinking skills to assess and resolve process challenges.
  • Follow best practices in business process management and quality assurance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business data and client information.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to meet quality and compliance goals.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and upskill continuously to improve process efficiency.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical understanding of insurance and reinsurance services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and coordination abilities.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Sound insurance domain knowledge, particularly in reinsurance placement and claims.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in any specialization

Certifications

  • Insurance certification preferred (added advantage)

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Insurance Operations or Quality Analysis, preferably within Reinsurance or FAC processes

Compensation

CTC:
