Private Chef

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Private Chef located in Kolkata. The Private Chef will be responsible for daily meal preparation, menu planning, sourcing and purchasing high-quality ingredients, and maintaining kitchen hygiene and organization. Additionally, the chef will collaborate closely with clients to cater to their dietary preferences and ensure an exceptional dining experience. The role also involves preparing meals for special events and private functions as needed.

Qualifications

• Culinary skills: Expertise in menu planning, daily meal preparation, and high-quality ingredient sourcing.
• Kitchen management skills: Maintaining kitchen hygiene, organization, and adhering to safety standards.
• Client-focused skills: Ability to cater to dietary preferences and deliver exceptional dining experiences.
• Event coordination skills: Experience in preparing meals for special events and private functions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
• Previous experience as a Private Chef or in a similar luxury service environment is highly desirable.
