BlackHill Fund Management LLP (https://blackhillfund.com) is the Investment Manager of BlackHill Fund I, a growth fund employing both PE and VC strategies to generate returns. BlackHill Fund I is a SEBI registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) with a target corpus of INR 500-750 crore.

BlackHill Fund supports entrepreneurs in consumer, food, healthcare, climate, financial services and sector agnostic businesses (20% of fund size) in the middle stages of growth.

Rajesh Ranjan, the founder of BlackHill Fund Management LLP has more than two decades of experience in equity investing in venture capital, private equity, hedge fund, proprietary equity and public markets. Prior to BlackHill, Ranjan was the founding CEO of NABVENTURES and has worked with Q Investments LP (USA), a multi-strategy hedge fund, CapAleph Fund, IDFC Proprietary Equity etc. Ranjan is an MBA from IIM Calcutta and an economics graduate from St. Stephens College.

Nilesh Agrawal is the co-founder of BlackHill Fund Management LLP and has a deep experience in management and tech consulting, business analysis, strategy etc. His work experience includes UST Global, a digital transformation company, EPAM, a product engineering and digital transformation consulting company in USA, Accenture (USA) etc. Nilesh is an MBA from IIM Calcutta.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal to lead our investor relations efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wealth management, fundraising for venture capital/private equity funds, with a proven track record in raising capital and managing investor relations.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Fundraising Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to attract new investors and retain existing ones.

·      Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with Limited Partners (LPs), including institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.

·      Marketing and Communication: Create compelling marketing materials, pitch decks, and presentations to effectively communicate the firm’s value proposition and investment strategy.

·      Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investors and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

·      Event Management: Organize and participate in investor meetings, roadshows, and industry conferences to promote the fund and engage with potential investors.

·      Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and investor preferences to refine fundraising strategies.

·      Reporting: Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management and investors on fundraising progress and market insights.

What we are looking for:

·      Proven track record in fundraising and ability to build and maintain relationships with investors

·      Minimum of 8-12 years of relevant working experience in wealth management, fundraising for VC/PE funds in similar roles
