Job Description

Role Overview: As a Principal Engineer at the company, you will play a crucial role in the technical execution of proposals and projects. Your responsibilities will include acting as the discipline lead engineer, ensuring compliance with engineering practices, delivering quality work within contractual frameworks, and contributing to the optimization of engineering workflows and procedures. Additionally, you will participate in professional group meetings to stay updated on industry trends and innovations. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in the development and implementation of engineering practices, workflows, and procedures - Monitor workflow and make recommendations to SME and Project Management Teams - Control key parameters and efficiency figures for estimating equipment, material, and man-hours - Contribute to optimization of engineering practices based on collected KPIs - Coordinate training programs for Engineers and Designers - Ensure compliance with Discipline Manual and Job Manual during project execution - Manage technical procurement activities for equipment - Review and approve Vendor documents - Develop knowledge in the area of responsibility through seminars and training - Execute work in compliance with HSE Management System and IMS - Provide necessary input to lessons learnt process and competency management - Support mentoring and coaching activities - Lead and coordinate Instrumentation and Control System Engineering for projects - Review client ITB and prepare estimates for Instrumentation Cost - Possess good coordination skills with other Engineering disciplines and construction teams - Guide Instrument designers for detail installation engineering - Conduct FATs for systems and attend inspections as required - Identify risks and opportunities during execution and recommend mitigations - Communicate effectively to manage interdiscipline workflow - Identify cost optimization opportunities during project execution - Utilize tools like SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) and AutoCAD Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 9 to 13 years of industry experience - Knowledge and experience with various ASTM, IS, IEC codes and standards - Experience in EPC or Detail design engineering for projects in sectors like Oil & Gas, Energy, Refining - Conversant with SPI (Intools) and 3D model review software - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills - Ability to establish deadlines, manage priorities, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - Experience in commissioning and field execution is an added advantage (Note: The job description also includes information about the company's commitment to diversity and inclusion, welcoming applications from all qualified candidates regardless of background.),
