In the role of a Data Architect at Caterpillar Inc., you will be responsible for defining functional design and data system architecture across various digital platforms, with a primary focus on leading data architecture solutions for large Digital Thread Programs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing detailed architecture deliverables to address business problems. - Leading the evaluation and deployment of new technologies to enhance digital technical capabilities. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver digital solutions that meet business requirements for digital thread capabilities. To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications: - Experience in leading cross-functional global teams and managing high-stake projects from inception to completion. - Design and implementation expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solutions. - Proficiency in creating High-Level Architecture and Design patterns. - Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Architect (Must). - Working knowledge in cloud or SaaS integrations like Google, Snowflake, AWS, OneTrust, and others. - Expertise in Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and Audience Segmentation. - Hands-on experience in data architecture, Data Management, and Analytics (ETL, SQL, Tableau). - Strong background in Integrations (API, Heroku, Web Services). - Proficiency in Security reviews, Data Privacy, Bug bounty management. - Understanding of the data platform to build new data solutions with impact analysis. - Troubleshooting skills to find solutions for technical and functional issues. - Ability to evaluate, analyze, document, and communicate business requirements. - Ownership of architecture meetings, discussions, and whiteboarding sessions. - Relationship building with partner architects and customers to optimize and enhance data solutions. - Providing ROM (rough order magnitude) for data solutions. - Creating reusable data solutions based on data domains and business requirements. - Reviewing LTA documentation with reference to business needs.
