Principal Consultant - HCM Technical

As a Principal Consultant - Oracle Cloud HCM Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering the technical components related to the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of Oracle HCM Cloud systems. Your responsibilities will include developing HCM Extracts for reporting, analysis, and integration with other systems, as well as creating reports using BI Publisher. You will also be responsible for performing data conversion using HDL, developing fast formulas, and having a functional understanding of at least two HCM modules including Core HR. Additionally, you will need to have an understanding of the Redwood framework and Journey configuration, perform page personalizations and customizations using VBS, and migrate existing page personalizations to Redwood using VBS. You will be required to develop integrations using REST APIs and it would be beneficial to have OIC development skills and VB development skills. Your role will also involve preparing and submitting technical documentation, participating in requirement collection discussions with business stakeholders, and managing integrations between HCM Cloud and external applications or systems within the organization. Furthermore, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements, providing training and support to business users, and working closely with the IT team to ensure data security, backup, and recovery plans are in place and effective. You will also collaborate with Oracle Support on any issues that require escalated support. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, along with 8+ years of experience as an HCM technical consultant. Knowledge of integration tools and third-party applications, excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential for this role. HCM Cloud functional certifications would be a plus.,
