As an Oracle OIC Technical Consultant - Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for gathering and understanding detailed technical requirements related to conversions, interfaces, reports, integrations, and custom development. You will need to possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, along with the ability to deliver under pressure. Being self-motivated and adaptable to changing and competing demands is essential for this role. Your role will involve troubleshooting technical issues and demonstrating tenacity in problem-solving. You will work closely with functional teams to optimize and tailor the Oracle Cloud System to meet the organization's needs. Additionally, you will be involved in delivering technical components related to implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of Oracle Cloud systems. Your responsibilities will include developing and fixing reports using BI Publisher, performing data conversions, designing and developing OIC-based integrations, and working on custom application development and extensions using Apex & VBCS. You will also be required to prepare and submit technical documentation, participate in requirement collection discussions with business stakeholders, and manage integrations between Cloud and external applications or systems within the organization. Collaboration with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements is a key aspect of this role. You will provide training and support to business users and work closely with the IT team to ensure data security, backup, and recovery plans are effective. Additionally, you will collaborate with Oracle Support on escalated support issues and should have knowledge of integration tools and third-party applications. Having ERP Cloud functional certifications would be a plus for this position.
