Principal Civil Engineer

As a Civil Design Engineer in an EPC environment, your role will involve collaborating with project managers and other engineers to design, plan, and oversee construction projects. You will conduct site investigations, analyze data for project feasibility, and prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with building codes, standards, and regulations, as well as conducting quality control inspections to maintain construction materials and methods at required standards. In this role, you will supervise construction teams and contractors to ensure projects are completed according to plans and specifications. Monitoring project progress, providing regular updates to project managers and stakeholders, and addressing any issues or obstacles that may arise during the construction process are crucial aspects of your job. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing cost estimates and budget proposals for construction projects, while staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technology in civil engineering.
