Primary Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery:
• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons as per CBSE guidelines.
• Integrate phonics, grammar, reading comprehension, creative writing, and vocabulary building.
• Use innovative teaching methods including storytelling, role play, and activity-based learning.
• Student Development:
• Foster speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills among students.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress regularly through classwork, assignments, and periodic assessments.
• Provide additional support/remediation to struggling learners.
• Classroom Management:
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
• Encourage participation, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Manage classroom resources effectively.
• Assessment & Reporting:
• Conduct formative and summative assessments as per CBSE requirements.
• Maintain student records, prepare report cards, and share progress with parents.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings.
• Professional Duties:
• Collaborate with peers, coordinators, and subject heads for curriculum planning.
• Attend workshops, training, and professional development programs.
• Contribute to school events, assemblies, competitions, and literary activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in English or relevant discipline with B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms).
• Prior teaching experience in a CBSE school (preferred).
• Strong command over spoken and written English.
• Passion for teaching young learners with patience and creativity.
• Proficiency in using digital tools/Smart Boards for classroom teaching.

Work Conditions:

• Full-time, regular position.
• 6-day working week (as per school policy).
• Participation in co-curricular and extracurricular school activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,376.09 - ₹32,855.19 per month
