Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated English Teacher for the Secondary Section (Grades 8,9 & 10) who can deliver the CBSE English curriculum effectively, enhance language skills, and prepare students for board examinations. The ideal candidate should foster a love for literature, language, and communication while building students’ analytical and writing skills. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in English Literature and Language as per CBSE syllabus and NCERT guidelines. Plan, prepare and implement lesson plans that develop language skills – listening, speaking, reading, and writing (LSRW). Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including Class 10 board exams. Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students and parents. Integrate grammar, vocabulary-building, comprehension, and writing skills across lessons. Encourage creative expression through debates, elocutions, essay writing, and reading activities. Use digital tools and smart classroom technologies to enrich the learning experience. Maintain an organized and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning. Participate in curriculum planning, school events, staff meetings, and professional development workshops. Guide students in English-related clubs, competitions, and co-curricular activities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English Literature or related field. B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms). Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level in a CBSE school. Skills Required: Excellent command of spoken and written English. Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills. Familiarity with CBSE board exam format and evaluation process. Creative teaching techniques and differentiated instruction strategies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Tech-savvy (Google Workspace, Smart Boards, digital content creation).
