Job Description

Job Summary:

Secondary English Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons for grades 6 to 10 in accordance with the school curriculum.
Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
Assess and evaluate students progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into daily lessons.
Maintain accurate student records and communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance.
Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
Ensure adherence to school policies and academic standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in English or a related field.
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
Minimum
5 to 10 years
of teaching experience in secondary grades (CBSE curriculum preferred).
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Strong command of written and spoken English.
Ability to motivate and inspire students.
