Job Description

Location: Fort, Mumbai (WFO)Experience: 2-5 yearsIndustry: Logistics (mandatory)

Job Responsibilities

Maintain and provide day-to-day pricing to the sales team and/or directly to customers.
Handle all freight rate inquiries with designated Steam Ship Liners (SSL), Air, and LCL co-loaders.
Receive and maintain monthly rate sheets as per service contracts with SSL; plan and participate in service contract negotiations.
Share updated rate sheets with the sales team and management.
Follow up with sales teams and customers for feedback to understand shipment needs.
Ensure timely retrieval, quotation, negotiation, and filing of rates for internal and external customers.
Manage bid/tender completion deadlines efficiently.
Secure market rates through internal data or external carrier feedback.

Required Skills & Knowledge

Strong understanding of Air and Sea freight pricing (both are mandatory).
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
