Coordinate with clients to understand shipping requirements. Negotiate with carriers to secure competitive rates. Prepare and maintain documentation for import/export processes. Submisiions and filing of mandatory USA customs filing Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations. Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery. Address and resolve any operational issues promptly. Collaborate with customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance. Maintain accurate records of shipments and transactions. Conduct regular audits of shipping processes and procedures. Provide excellent customer service and support. Work closely with finance to manage billing and invoicing. Analyze transportation costs and optimize logistics procedures. Train and guide junior team members in operational protocols. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in freight forwarding operations. Strong knowledge of customs regulations and import/export procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of FMC license submission and filing requirements Proficient in logistics management software and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
