As the President/Vice-President of Corporate Finance & Investment Banking at Sathguru Management Consultants, you will be leading the practice to an industry-leading position across life science industries by leveraging our unique positioning and strengths. Your responsibilities will include: - **Practice Building:** - Strategic Planning and P&L Responsibility: Assessing opportunities in the industry, preparing mid-term and annual strategic plans, and implementing them with practice level P&L responsibility. - PR and Communication: Building awareness about the firm's expertise and creating an industry-leading reputation for the life science corporate finance advisory practice. - Industry Network Building and Business Development: Building networks with key stakeholders, sourcing corporate finance engagements, and meeting targeted business development goals. - **Engagement Management, Project Execution, and Delivery:** - Leading end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including origination, financial modeling, negotiations, and closing for all transactions. - Leading fund-raising for venture financing, growth capital, and debt funding. - Executing engagements for valuation of tangible and intangible assets, financial due diligence, and transaction structuring. - Supporting the corporate advisory team with financial modeling and analysis for advisory engagements. Your profile should include deep experience driving corporate finance deals, knowledge of sector trends in knowledge-rich segments, and prior engagement in corporate financial advisory. An independent drive to secure business, accomplish targets, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams are essential. You should possess an MBA from a top-tier business school or be a Chartered Accountant with at least ten years of experience. Familiarity with digital tools for financial modeling is necessary.
