President / Vice-President- Corporate finance & Investment Banking

As a President / Vice-President of Corporate Finance & Investment Banking at Sathguru Management Consultants, you will lead the practice and drive the firm to an industry-leading position, particularly focusing on life science industries. With over 35 years of experience in innovation advisory, business advisory, asset management, corporate finance, and investment banking, Sathguru has established a strong presence in advisory services for various sectors including agri-business, food processing, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare delivery, and industrial biotechnology. Your primary responsibilities will include strategic planning, P&L responsibility, PR and communication to enhance the firm's reputation, industry network building, business development, engagement sourcing, and end-to-end execution of M&A transactions. You will also lead fund raising activities, valuation of assets, financial due diligence, and provide financial analysis support for advisory engagements. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 10 years of relevant experience in corporate finance deals, a strong network in the industry, and expertise in resource syndication, M&A advisory, asset valuations, corporate restructuring, and asset monetization. A background in knowledge-rich sectors such as life sciences, information sciences, and applied physical sciences will be advantageous. Proficiency in financial modeling tools, ability to work independently to achieve business targets, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and possess an MBA from a top-tier business school or a CA qualification are essential requirements.
