Presentation and Design Manager
Principal Responsibilities
- Delivery of work that follows content and design guidelines, and industry best practices
- Ensure team adherence to department guidelines, compliance regulations, policies and procedures regarding content and design through constant communication and regular implementation; monitor initiatives, including training, and coaching the team leads that are tasked with implementing them
- Bring fresh direction and insight to creative, while maintaining defined design standards
- Develop/maintain a thorough understanding of the PDS business and assigned channels/business areas
- Participate with business partners in developing marketing and communications strategies
- Positions PDS as a consultant and subject-matter-expert
- Jointly manage high-level design jobs with the production managers
- Works with other specialists to produce, check and deliver all Presentation materials and related projects within
- HSBC template guidelines set by HSBC Group Brand and Marketing team guidance
- Ensure high quality of work by consistently taking responsibility for one's own work, reviewing it against quality standards, and consistently
- seeking to achieve zero quality errors.
Requirements
- Preferably, 7+ years of experience in creative design, consulting or finance within a multinational
- company or a similar cross-cultural environment
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, with strong expertise in PowerPoint
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Familiarity with video content creation, including storyboarding, editing, animation, and post-production, using Adobe Premier and After Effects or similar applications
- Develop and execute creative concepts for various marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and resonate with target audiences
- The ability to generate original ideas and transform them into visual concepts.
- Print production: Strong knowledge of print production and colour separation
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
- Strong interpersonal skills and a strong eagerness to learn
- Ability to maintain attention to detail under pressure and meet tight deadlines
