Presales - Technology Consultant

We are looking for Pre-Sales Technology Consultant whom would be part of a young team that operates in areas of Virtualization, Cloud, Hyperconvergence. Work with customers and internal teams to assist in understanding customer requirements, design solution, deployments, migrations, support fixes. Job role provides exposure on managing high end IT Infrastructure solutions on the areas of virutalization, hyperconverged infrastructure solutions etc.

Candidates with Pre-sales experience with Server Hardware, Virualization solutions ( VMware / Nutanix/Hyper-V) and storage is must for applying this job.

Responsibility

• Respond and resolve customer technical queries or trouble tickets raised via inbound calls, emails, web tickets.

• Provide L1, L2 support to troubleshoot by use of domain knowledge to resolve all incident and escalated infrastructure issues.

• Monitor performance, manage service levels and ensure to upkeep client satisfaction.

• Testing of new features, rolling out updates, patches, bug fixes to customer infrastructure on Stacbloc platform.

• Rolling out deployments, solutions at client locations.

Requirements

• Knowledge on Servers, Virtualization, Cloud platforms like OpenStack, Storage, Networking.

• Deployment, Integration, testing of Computer systems & Virtualization.

• Skilled on installing, deploying, operating, managing Server & Client OS Windows, Linux, Virtualization.

• Working knowledge on File CIFS / FTP / NFS & iSCSI Block storage.

• Change management, configuration management, patch management of compute instances, storage & network.

• Updates & upgrade of OS, applications.

• SLA, uptime & performance management.

• Auditing, log management

• Proactive health checkup.

• Security policy enforcement, incident management.

• Certifications on IT Infrastructure would score bonus points.

• Client management, customer service and relationship management skills.

• Flexible, dependable, self-starter, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.
