Job Description

Role Overview: As a (Senior) Sales Engineer at Whatfix, you will play a crucial role in presenting the value proposition and benefits of the Whatfix solution to prospects. You will be responsible for building a strong understanding of the Whatfix product suite, delivering tailored product demonstrations, and providing consultative guidance throughout complex sales cycles. Your role will also involve collaborating cross-functionally with different teams to align solutions with customer needs and capturing customer feedback to influence product direction. Key Responsibilities: - Build a strong understanding of the Whatfix product suite and stay updated on competitive offerings. - Partner with the sales team to deliver tailored product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs). - Clearly communicate the value proposition and technical benefits of Whatfix solutions to diverse stakeholders. - Lead the technical discovery process to understand client needs and map them to our platform capabilities. - Support and respond to RFPs/RFIs with accurate and compelling technical content. - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to align solutions with customer needs. - Represent Whatfix at events such as conferences, webinars, and customer workshops. - Provide consultative guidance throughout complex sales cycles, helping prospects envision successful outcomes. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience in Presales, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or related technical roles. - Strong foundation in web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. - Previous hands-on development experience or background in web/software development. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred. - Comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to simplify and explain complex technical concepts clearly. - Experience working with SaaS products or enterprise software solutions. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proactive, collaborative, and customer-centric approach to problem-solving. - Willingness to travel for customer meetings, demos, or events.
