Role - Presales Engineer

  • We are looking to build our technical Presales Engineer who can help our prospects fully understand product capabilities by providing demos, webinars.
  • Need to handle RFPs (Request for proposals), BRD (Business requirements document), determine the technical requirements to meet client goals and act as liaison between the sales, product management and engineering groups.
  • Respond to requests for information or requests for proposals from customers, supplying the technical details of proposed solutions.
  • Handle implementations as per client's requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling stories around our products and educate potential users about the benefits.
  • Collaborate with the sales, development and marketing team by acting as technical experts in the software product for the end-users.
  • Understand and monitor the markets in which our products compete, the end user experience and real-world problems.
  • Develop methods for potential customers to understand our products better.
  • Understand and monitor the end user experience and real-world problems.
  • Use their convictions to help product management teams build better products and improve existing features.
  • Respond to requests for information or requests for proposals from customers, supplying the technical details of our products.

Desired qualities

  • Ability to grasp highly-technical concepts and translate them into laymen terms.
  • Expertise in product presentations, demo and webinars.
  • A self-learner who can pick up tech skills with minimum support and have a curiosity about learning new concepts.
  • High proficiency in English with excellent written and oral skills is a must.
  • Doesn't shy away from work that requires patience and perseverance.
  • Experience in working with SQL, API, knowledge in data science (data analytics, data preparation) would be a plus.

Desired experience:

A minimum of 2 years experience in pre-sales or support role, in a company which deals with B2B software products.
