Pre-Primary Teacher

A preschool teacher is responsible for educating and caring for children (typically ages 3-5) in a structured learning environment, focusing on their holistic development (social, emotional, cognitive, and physical) to prepare them for kindergarten. Key responsibilities involve creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging atmosphere.

Core Responsibilities

• Curriculum Planning & Instruction: Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and daily schedules that stimulate curiosity and learning through play, storytelling, music, and art. Teach basic skills such as identifying numbers, colors, shapes, and letters.
• Classroom Management: Establish and enforce rules of behavior to maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment. Supervise children at all times during lessons, playtime, breaks, and meals, and handle any conflicts or emergencies calmly.
• Child Development & Assessment: Observe and assess each child's progress, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and potential developmental delays. Adapt teaching methods and provide individualized support to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
• Communication & Collaboration: Maintain open and cooperative communication with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding children's development, progress, and any concerns. Participate in staff meetings and professional development workshops.
• Basic Care Needs: Provide basic care and assist children with developing self-help skills like appropriate eating, dressing, and using the toilet.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is needed.
• Skills:

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for children.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Creativity and adaptability in developing engaging activities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Physical stamina to keep pace with young, active children.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
