Required Experience: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests. Assess students' skills and learning requirements to provide personalized learning experiences. Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to support student progress. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success. Monitor and report on students' progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Provide support and guidance to classroom assistants and other support staff. Stay updated with the latest educational practices, tools, and resources in special education.
