Job Description: Event Coordinator

The Event Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, organization, and delivery of a wide range of school events that foster community spirit and uphold the school’s values and reputation. And ensuring that all events are professionally managed, well-communicated, and reflective of the school’s international character.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, coordinate and deliver school events such as awards ceremonies, open mornings, cultural celebrations and community functions.

· Oversee on-site event execution, including registration, guest services, and troubleshooting.

· Serve as the central point of contact for all event-related communication, ensuring effective collaboration among internal departments and external stakeholders.

· Liaise with faculty, administrative staff, student representatives, and parent associations to support event objectives.

· Track expenditures, reconcile invoices, and prepare post-event financial summaries.

· Support the development of branded materials, signage, and collateral as required.

· Assist with additional administrative tasks as assigned by the Associate Director of Brand Communications.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Prepare post-event reports and feedback summaries to evaluate outcomes and improvements.
  • Maintain the annual school events calendar and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in event coordination, preferably in an educational or international environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and event management tools; design or media experience is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English
