Practice & Delivery Head – Cloud, product development and GenAI

Role Overview

Own the end-to-end charter for Cloud (AWS-first) and GenAI. Lead presales solutioning, delivery governance, competency building, managed operations and lightweight product/MVP initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities (Core Mandate)

Practice Leadership

• Set the practice vision, offering service catalogue, and roadmaps across Cloud, GenAI and product development.
• Build reusable accelerators, templates, and delivery playbooks to standardize execution.

Presales & Solutioning

• Lead discovery, solution architecture, SoWs, proposals/RFP responses, and customer workshops.
• Prepare delivery plans; ensure feasibility, effort modelling, and risk controls.

Delivery Governance

• Review designs, unblock teams, manage risks/issues, and ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.
• Ensure successful project deliver tracked against milestone

Competency Development

• Define skill frameworks, learning paths, and mentoring SOPs for cloud, data/AI.
• Run internal demos, brown-bags, and code/design reviews to uplift engineering quality.
• Create case studies and references; define and achieve AWS program/SDP objectives.

Product & IP

• Identify customer pain points suitable for MVPs; prioritize, scope, and guide lean releases.
• Convert repeatable work into automation, frameworks, and internal IP.

People, Resourcing & Vendors

• Hire/coach, plan capacity, manage vendors/contractors, and ensure succession coverage.

Must have experience:

• 15+ years in end-to-end ownership across presales, delivery, and managed operations. Hands-on solutioning for RFPs/SoWs, architecture reviews, delivery governance, service transition to NOC/MSP for steady-state operations.
• 5+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams (solution architects, cloud/AI engineers, PMs) with AWS cloud background
